What is it like travelling in the Karakoram? Local people are friendly and welcoming. The airports are good with excellent flight service. Roads are smooth with well maintained vehicles. What is the difference between K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum 1 and Gasherbrum 2? G-2 is definitely the easiest of the 4. It is a big snow climb. G-2 and G-1 can be climbed in the same trip, from the same Camp 1. K2 is a really big challenge; summiting K2 is a very highly respected achievement. Broad Peak is located across the glacier from K2.
What is the difference between Pastore Peak and K2 Base Camp Trek? Pastore Peak is a 5 day add on, allowing a real summit climb on snow of a small 6000 metre peak with amazing views of K2, Broad Peak, Concordia, and all around. Perfect for a first mountaineering experience.
What is the Gasherbrum Training Climb? It is a chance to get up high (7000 metres) and really test yourself at altitude in a shorter time frame for less money.
What is the K2 Base Camp Trek and Gondogoro La Pass Crossing? K2 BC Trek is the best in the World, much more amazing mountain scenery than the Everest Trek.
