RULES FOR NEPAL VISA AND COVID 19:
1) A certificate or letter or evidence showing a negative Covid-19 test (PCR) taken within 72 hours before arrival in Nepal will be required.
2) 7 days quarantine in a KTM hotel before the trek or expedition will be required at team members’ expense. (We estimate the additional cost of this at around $60 per day x 7 days = $420)
3) On the 5th day of your quarantine you will be required to take another PCR test at your expense (approx. $50). If this is positive then you will be required to quarantine unti negative..
4) We will assist you in obtaining your Nepal visa.
5) Each member needs travel insurance which covers Covid-19 (Minimum cover of $5000). We recommend Global Rescue, who provide their members with advisory and transport services in connection with COVID-19 in the same manner as any other infectious condition.
6) All leaders, staff and Sherpas will be taking complete Covid-19 precautions, wearing masks and social distancing
7) Please check if your country may require special procedures when you return.
