8 Nov - Today's update from Expedition Leader Dani for Second Team : Today we walk from Pangboche to Dingboche, all climbing members are feeling good.
7 Nov - Today's update from Expedition Leader Dan Mazur:
- We made it down to Chukung Village. Everyone's ok. They even lowered the dog down the pass!
- Now we are in the very challenging abseil rappel of the amphu labtsa descent. 15m/50ft of #vertical rock snow. Toughest for the porters. Back to top
6 Nov - Today's update from Expedition Leader Dan Mazur:
- A DOG has followed us up here. We are not sure what to do. Should we try lowering the dog down the cliffs on the other side of the pass?
- Brite starlite nite on Amphu Labtsa pass. Remotest valley in Himalaya layed out below us. If this was Alps, it would be named Eagles Nest.
- Amphu Labtsa high camp 5670m/18600ft Highest camp of trek Hard to believe we are so high up in the clouds looking down on the 5 lakes valley
- Baruntse group number 1 is now packing up basecamp, readying for the walk to amphu labtsa high camp. We are 9 members, 3 Sherpas, 22 porters.Back to top
5 Nov - Today's update from Expedition Leader Dan Mazur:
- Very tough descent to basecamp. High winds, blowing snow, hard to stand up or walk, one tent damaged. All Sherpas & members ok, thank God.
- Heavy wind blowing snow and ground blizzard @ camp 2 are making packing challenging & will add difficulty to the descent. Please Be Careful
4 Nov - Today's update from Expedition Leader Dan Mazur:
- All members and all Sherpas have returned safely from Mount Baruntse. It was a perfect sunny day. Now we are at Highcamp replenishing.
- Now setting off into nite to climb Baruntse. Drink tea, eat porridge, fill bottles. Its 3am. We begin ascending the fixed ropes in 1 hour. Back to top
- Inside warm tent resting for tonight's summit attempt. Sherpas make delicious food, hot tea. Forecast calls for light wind. Try sleep a bit
- In camp 2 @ 6350m/21150ft. Sunny + windy in highcamp w 8 member & 4 Sherpa. 5 teams descended with no summit. Please wish luck 4 tonight! Back to top

- Splendid day for ascent to camp 1. Sunny, no wind, no cloud. Steep snow climbing up the west col. Everyone made it! We're at 6100m/21,000ft.
- On our way to the summit. Our first stop will be camp 1, where we will sleep tonight. Tomorrow we go to camp 2, then try summit. Need luck!

- Now we are eating lunch at 5950m/19800ft. We are at the base of the West Col. Its a lovely warm sunny day with splendid views. mmm sandwich
- Ice climbing glacier training on Naulekh Glacier. Perfect weather to practice ropes, iceaxe, crampon, ascending, descending, belays. Fun ice
- It only snowed 2cm/1in overnight and skies are mainly blue with a few light clouds and zero wind. We are headed to camp 1 to acclimatize. Back to top

- We are back down in basecamp. Hot showers, delicious food, warm sun. All is well.
- We are on the SUMMIT! of Mera Peak. Its sunny, windy and beautiful. EVEREST looks incredible from here!!
- 1:00am in high camp. Sherpas are bringing us cups of tea, porridge, and noodle soup. We are trying to wake up & get dressed. Very windy cold. Back to top

- In high camp. Awesome Everest views, but very windy. 9 hours until departure @ 2am with 9 members (men & women) and 4 super star Sherpas.
- Climbing to Mera Peak high camp @ 5800m/19,000. Sunny, light wind, light cirrus, mainly blue sky. Please wish us luck for tonight's ascent.

- Just now entering the Mera La. Its a massive 1.5km/1mile long glacier @ 5400m/17400ft. The entry point to Mera La has rockfall. Helmets On! Back to top
