29 April - Our team made a proud effort to reach the summit but were unable to make it due to difficult conditions. This month the unstable weather has brought near daily snowfall to the rocky ridges of Ama Dablam and has made for tricky travel. We are very proud of our team for their efforts and look forward to returning to the summit this coming November!






27 April -  Ama Dablam team is staged for summit in Camp 2. We will leave for the summit around 11pm. 2 inches snow this afternoon. Clear skies now. Please wish us luck!




26 April -  we are at camp 1. Tomorrow C2 and leave for summit around 11pm. Nice weather so far. We are strong, healthy, and hopeful



Ama Dablam Expedition Dispatch: April 22 - It’s a beautiful morning at Ama Dablam. Some of our team are resting in basecamp and the rest are coming down from Camp 1. Heavy snowfall yesterday gave way to a clear morning. We expect more snow in the coming days and will rest up before going on our summit push.



Ama Dablam Expedition Dispatch: April 21 - Our team completed our acclimatizing rotation today after sleeping 1 night ABC, 2 nights at Camp 1, and touching camp 2. The climb from Camp 1 to Camp 2 is unbeatable skyline rock climbing on granite.





Ama Dablam Expedition Dispatch:  April 19: We are now at Camp 1 5760m and enjoying very good weather. Last night we slept at Advanced Base Camp 5400m. Clouds build in the afternoon but every morning is crystal clear. Our team is looking strong and we will stay here 2 nights before returning to basecamp. Our sherpa team has been working very hard to prepare the mountain for us- an extra thank you to them!



Ama Dablam Expedition Dispatch: April 17 - Today we had our Puja Ceremony at basecamp provided to us by a Buddhist Lama. It is a special moment of a Himalayan Expedition and the Lama prays for our safe passage on the mountain. Tomorrow we will head up for several nights on the mountain to acclimatize, starting with Advanced Base Camp. The team is strong and motivated! -Ben, Expedition Leader





Ama Dablam Expedition Dispatch: April 14 - Our team is now at basecamp! The mountain was in and out of the clouds today but team members were filled with excitement and motivation at the striking summit now overhead. We are looking forward to technial training tomorrow before beginning our acclimatizing rotations on the mountains.

Expedition Dispatch April 12 - We’ve had a lovely few days in Namche. This morning it’s back on the trail heading up the valley , looking forward  more spectacular views.



Expedition Dispatch April 11 - We’ve been acclimatising in Namche Bazaar, the main town in the khumbu Valley. There are plenty of shops , restaurants and places to hang out . This morning we hiked up to the Everest View hotel for some altitude gain, wonderful views and drinks on the terrace , spectacular.






Expedition Dispatch April 8 - We took the scenic flight up to Lukla airport this morning. It has a very short runway but the landing was smooth . It was then a relatively short walk onto the Sonam lodge in Zomphute following up the river course.

Expedition Dispatch April 7 - SummitClimb left Kathmandu after a group lunch in Thamel. We loaded up all members and equipment in vans and headed East for Manthali (540m elevation). Tomorrow we will fly to Lukla and begin our trek.


Winding along the Sunkoshi & Tama Koshi Rivers, our drive is a scenic one to start our respective expeditions.

27 March - Everest SummitClimb Sherpa Teams left Kathmandu this morning with all the expedition goods.



26 March - Sherpa and team are ready to go Lukla with expedition goods.



24 March - Super qualified friendly helpful Sherpas with more than 10 ascents are working for our upcoming Everest Expedition 2022. We are leaving for Lukla on 9 April 2022
