Update from Trekking Guide: On 29 Dec. we trek up Kala Patar (5,545 metres/18,200 feet). We all are lucky, really good view of Everest and other Himalayas. Then we walk down to in Pheriche at 4,250 metres/14,000 feet. Today we are walking down to Namche Bazaar to celebrate New Year Eve. Tomorrow we try to reach Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu on 3 Jan. 2016.

28 Dec -

Update from Trekking Guide: A short day up the Khumbu glacier takes us to the rocky outpost of Gorak Shep, with three cozy tea houses at 5,160 metres/16,900 feet. Then walk up to Everest basecamp, which lies a top the Khumbu glacier at 5,300 metres/17,400 feet. Return to Gorak Shep.

Update from Trekking Guide: Today we walk along to the village Lobuche, 4,930 metres/16,200 feet. Weather is good till today. We all are fine here. Tomorrow we are planning to go at Gorek Shepa, once we reach there we are planning to go Everest Basecamp and Kalapather.

Update from Trekking Guide: Merry Christmas from our team. We all are ok here in Dingboche. 4,317 meters / 14,163 feet.

23 Dec -

Update from Trekking Guide: Yesterday we walked to Namche Bazaar 3,440 metre/11,300 feet. Today we are taking rest, acclimate, and relax in Namche Bazaar.  All is well.

21 Dec -

Update from Trekking Guide: All members and all the bags reach Lukla safe and sound. Now walking down to next village Phakding. Today we will take rest there and tomorrow Namche Bazaar.
